Bird in the kitchen.

Captured in a moment.
This bird visited me in my kitchen.
It just sat and looked at me.

But it could not stay.
I feared the dogs would soon pick up the scent and terrify it.
It did not know the danger.

It flew to the small window
Leaving in my hands a pile of feathers.
So many.

Are you okay bird?
Whisked out the door to safety.
Leaving part of you behind.

A home, should be like entering the heart of a dove.

Tending one's garden, one becomes one, with the universe.

Each season
 of life
has its own flowers,
its own weeds

Pak Choi, celery, snow peas, leek and nasturtiums in the winter garden at home.

My hens are snug and warm.

Toto and hen - he would eat her, given half a chance.

Kale [very nutritious in  my morning vegetable juice] Silver beet and radishes.

Flowers mixed in with the edibles.

The sunflowers are nealy ready to be harvested for seed. Rhubarb and  daffodils also in this plot.

Solitude and Silence are the Mother of my Creativity.

One can renounce the world ,
 but,
not the moon and flowers.

Recent Paintings - the last not finished yet.

Our true home is the present moment.

Sunflowers in my winter garden, Ararat, Victoria

Not in the garden of the mind,
but in the
garden of the heart -
bloom the flowers of understanding

All heaven is made of chicken feed said the rooster to the dog.
