The gentle touch. Simone whispers to this large soul.

'via Blog this'
I really enjoyed having the family stay over Easter.
The first time the new house has been packed with the children and their friends.
Good laughs, shared meals and walks...heaven!
I am truely blessed.

Country Air

At last I have a fast internet connection and can publish again.
Things not working as smoothly as I would like as yet.
These are old photos now - of the day the windows were released from years of paint and the air came streaming in.
Just beautiful...fresh air!

Banksia Street house gets a haircut

The house needed a 'short-back-and-sides'
The overgrowth of the undergrowth is temporarily halted.
Nature is claiming this little house.
We are clipping it back to find the skeleton underneath.
Hopefully our intentions will be realised - To make this a house full of peace and love.
A place friends can meet to rest and recuperate and find their true selves.
You will be welcome.

Banksia Street Ararat

Photos of my new old house in Ararat.
Again. all thanks to the love and support of my sister Trish...bless her.
Still needing lots of tender loving care to restore it to its finer days.
Lovely light and a great wilderness of a garden.
Birds singing...the sun shining...what more could anyone want?

The old wood stove in the kitchen

One of the two fireplaces. This one is in the lounge.

The pantry door

These are pictures of the lounge and bedrooms after a clean-up by Will and Jess

The side gate looking toward the front and the road.

The wild garden is heaven for the birds.
As much as I like the way it looks the ivy has to be tamed to protect the structure

Will found the remains of a hidden path and two submerged bathtubs on the  track.

Posted by PicasaThe glasshouse is intact. Not one broken panel.

For Pixie

Pixie - I really appreciate your unwritten support and I want to give you the very first Blog peep of my little old miner's cottage.

It still seems unreal. Don't have the key for a couple more weeks. Lots of cleaning and sorting things to get it habitable. I want to tell you more but I am a bit anxious if I blurt it out it will all disappear. So I am taking it calmly and gently - step by step.
These are the real estate agents photos...I have only seen the house once.

I will make it a haven of peace and a healing place for those that come here.
Full of love, creativity, calmness and warmth......all gentle people, birds and animals also welcome.
And the odd hungry ghost can also drop by.
All love
And with Metta
The new householder.

Me

With deep gratitude to my beautiful sister Trish, for this roof over my head
